Installation

  1. The installation of the Roman Mosaic is a simple and quick process. The mosaic need to be placed on a perfectly leveled and clean surface, therefore prepare the concrete slab before and let it dry completely before placing the mosaic. Never lay them onto the fresh concrete. It is important that the surface where you place the mosaic is completely dry, to avoid unevenness and future evaporation of the moisture.
  2. The area where the Roman Mosaic will be installed need to be measured with accuracy in therms of surface area and also the thickness of the workpiece. In each case, leave 2mm separation between mosaic and the surface.
  3. After laying out the mosaic at the place where you want to put it and measuring it, apply adhesive on the surface and on the tile to improve the adhesion and prevent creating any empty spaces that may result in unsticking of the parts of mosaic in the future.
  4. Then, put the part of mosaic into the place and make sure it remains leveled.
  5. Later, put another mosaic sheet at the perimeter using small spacers.
  6. Leave it dry for 24h. The Roman Mosaic is perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. To install a large piece of mosaic, use of the crane is convenient to transport it to the place where you rant to locate it.
